This is a well-built Queen Size Danish Modern platform / floating bed in Teak from Poul Hundevad. The Hundevad company is very well known for exceptional cabinet work and this bed is a good example of the quality you would expect from this company. This is a superb Danish Modern platform bed in nearly mint condition that features heavy construction and storage in the foot-board area. This piece was in a spare bedroom that saw very little use resulting in the bed being in exceptional condition. The lines on this are simple and give this bed a great modern feel. The built-in storage units at the foot are very practical and add to this beds unique look and MOD appeal. The original finish is oiled Teak and is very nice.
This bed comes with no attached nightstands but the up side is that it can fit into MANY MORE locations. If you are in a town house, apartment or a living condition where space is valuable, this bed could be the ticket.
