This is a very sought after Teak Gentleman’s Chest designed by Nils Jonnson for Torring and manufactured by HJN. It is an exceptionally nice piece that comes to you in nearly perfect MINT condition. You will not find a nicer example of this piece anywhere, regardless of price. This piece offers a huge amount of storage on a small footprint. If you appreciate high quality vintage Danish furnishings but have limited space, this could be for you. 

Features of this fine vintage piece include dovetailed drawers and solid wood construction (no particleboard). The left side has six drawers of a very practical size and opening the door to the right side reveals six sliding trays. Each tray has a divider down the middle and they are constructed using dovetailed joints. The trays are perfect for small items like belts, socks, gloves, scarves and under garments. 

This piece came from the original owner’s estate and was in a guest room that received very little use. While this listing is for the Gentleman’s Chest, the other piece in the set (half size dresser) is also in exceptionally fine, nearly MINT condition. This is an exceptionally well designed and practical piece that will make a great modern statement in any bedroom.
