Danish Modern Black Leather High Back Lounge Chair + Ottoman By Fredrik A. Kayser for Vatne Mobler of Scandinavia

While I have a full suite of Fredrik A. Kayser living room furniture, this sale is for a single high back lounge chair & ottoman. No other pieces are included in this sale.

I actually have two high back lounge chairs in addition to a low back lounge chair and sofa. Both of the high back chairs will rotate in a circle and have spring reclining / rocking mechanisms. This tall back chair DOES NOT have the ability to lock into different recline angles. The second high back chair, in another listing, does lock into two different reclining positions

This hard to find, and exceptionally well maintained, high back lounge chair was designed by Fredrik A. Kayser for Vatne Mobler of Scandinavia. Like all the other pieces in this suite, it is in wonderful condition with no holes, rips, cracks, tears or damage of any kind (see all photos). While this is a vintage item, it in surprisingly nice condition.

All pieces in this suite are constructed to very high standards and the legs / base on all pieces are made of welded metal parts that are then covered with teak. This process offers the appearance of wood but the strength and durability of metal. All pieces in the suite are rock solid with supple soft leather and original down filled cushions. Having seen a number of these Fredrik A. Kayser items online with serious wear and damage, I would say – “If you can find the same items in better condition, BUY THEM”. I honestly feel you will not find this same chair in better condition anywhere, at any price.

I am happy to discuss this item with you so feel free to contact me at your convenience.

I am offering the pieces in the suite as individual pieces or together as a set.
