This is an amazing and unique Danish Modern drop-leaf dining table in a very light Beech-wood. The mechanism to support each leaf is very attractive and unique, one I have never seen before. When you want to pull the leaves out you simply pull up on the leaf and as the bent wood arm under the table slides over the lower table stretcher it locks into place – IT WORKS WONDERFULLY. When you want to lower the table you simply depress the bent wood arm with your foot and the leaf falls to the side effortlessly. This is a unique system that works very well with few moving parts to break.  

This is a very simple and handsome table that is of a VERY HIGH QUALITY! It is heavily constructed and designed to last a lifetime. The original owner purchased it from the SCAN store in the Washington DC area and was told it was a FDB / Borge Mogensen design. The table is in Amazing nearly mint condition as it was in storage almost all it’s life.
