MATCHING PLATFORM BED & STORAGE CHEST AVAILABLE
This is a wonderful Teak Gentleman’s Chest from Jesper in a rare factory applied whitewashed finished. This near mint piece is part of a matching bedroom set from Jesper that includes a platform bed and another storage chest. The Gentelmens chest features five drawers that slide smoothly on metal / ball bearing slides and a single door that reveals four adjustable shelves.
This is a wonderful Danish Modern 3 piece bedroom set in a unique factory applied whitewashed finish from JESPER of Denmark. I have only seen a handful with this finish in the past 25 years and this one is in exceptional condition. This matching set includes a queen platform bed, gentelman’s chest and smaller storage chest.
I have had a number of these Nils Jonsson bedroom chests and they are all exceptionally well made and very pleasing to the eye. Due to being only 36” wide this piece can fit almost anywhere and can be utilized as a night stand or entry chest, in addition to its dresser function. If you put two 36″ dressers together they provide the same storage as one single long dresser.
This is a very sought after Teak Gentleman’s Chest designed by Nils Jonnson for Torring and manufactured by HJN. It is an exceptionally nice piece that comes to you in nearly perfect MINT condition. You will not find a nicer example of this piece anywhere, regardless of price. This piece offers a huge amount of storage on a small footprint. If you appreciate high quality vintage Danish furnishings but have limited space, this could be for you.
