This is an exceptional Danish Modern platform / floating bed in high quality Teak from Komfort of Denmark. This quality bed features wonderful teak trim and unique floating nightstands integrated into the headboard. The lines on this are graceful and simple making it more desirable than some of the more common box designs. 

This piece was crafted by Komfort in Denmark and is a very well documented and made product. If you know much about vintage Danish furniture you know that Komfort produced some higher quality products during the 60s and 70s. I sell more beds than any other dealer on eBay and can honestly say that this bed is of an excellent quality. 

One nice feature is that the headboard can be disassembled into two parts and the nightstand sections can be removed as well. When it comes to moving and shipping this is a VERY PRACTICAL feature. In addition this has some very nice thick teak trim around the edges of the nightstand drawers and foot-board. 

The quality of this item can be seen in the construction and materials used. This is not your standard Teak box Danish bed – look at the photos of the corners. This is simply a better product than most Danish platform beds. The overall condition is nearly perfect with only very slightest signs of wear. Nice solid construction and graceful modern design by a top-notch company – what more can you ask for?
