Continue readingVinde Mobelfabrik made a popular matching suite of bedroom furniture designed by Arne Wahl Iversen that included a wide assortment of different chests and dressers. All the pieces were sized to complement each other and they worked together very well. Few people ever needed all the pieces that were available and the individual pieces often pop up on the web, one item at a time. Due to the sets popularity you can find all the pieces, sooner or later, allowing you to start building a set with any pieces you happen to find at the moment. I often have three or four different pieces available from this set. All the pieces can be mixed and matched to create a seamless and practical bedroom storage arrangement. This long dresser is from that collectable Arne Wahl Iversen set and I currently have several other Vinde pieces on hand.

This is a fabulous and rather rare writing desk designed by Jack Cartwright for Founders furniture. While Founders was a subsidiary of Thomasville furniture (Top Quality American Furniture), the designs from Jack Cartwright draw heavily on the Danish traditions of the mid 20th century. His work could easily fit into the catalogues of any major Danish Furniture company. In fact, this desk is very similar to the vintage Arne Vodder writing desk often seen for sale on the internet. Honestly, I have sold several of the Arne Vodder writing desks over the years and this is every bit as nice and possibly better.

This is a fabulous and rather rare minimalist executive desk attributed to Milo Baughman. I have sold a number of Milo Baughman pieces in the past, most often in burled olive wood, but I have never seen a desk of this style in Teak.
